- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always ask for references! Go and visit the sites where the landscaping was installed. Ask questions. Ask them to SHOW you in a manner you can visualize and understand, EXACTLY what your finished project will look like. Make sure they offer a warranty on all plantings. Don't use someone that is difficult to reach. If they are difficult before they receive your money, they'll be impossible after. Never pay everything up front. You should only be charged the cost of materials before the completion of the project. Always do an 'exit' walkthrough when complete and don't let them leave until YOU are happy!
