Lientz Construction Co. did a very intensive and large scale renovation of a 100+ year old 4 apartment house that was in disrepair and did an outstanding job. This was a near gut and total remake project involving large scale plumbing, rewiring the entire house, new floors, drywall, new kitchens and new baths. Mike is a professional at every level from the bidding through to the completed project. Each step of the way he was great at communicating with us what are options were and was involved in the creative process of how to turn these extremely outdated units into something that would truly attract the modern renter. Can't say enough good things about Mike and his company. We easily trusted him at every stage and did not have to oversee the process as we knew we were in good hands. Great experience!

Working with Mike Lietz was a pleasure. I hired Mike to be the general contractor for a complete basement finish in our home including the creation of a bedroom, 3/4 bath, bar and living areas. From our initial meeting to review my ideas for a the layout to framing and finishing I found Mike to be very accurate, responsive and affordable. He was great to work with me on a few ideas for changes mid-project, was transparent about pricing and worked within my budget. The team of people who worked on our home were very professional. We also had some custom ideas that Mike made a reality and made our home feel custom. We now have a basement we are proud of thanks to his work.

Mike Lientz supervised the construction of our 3400 square foot home from start to finish. He served as general contractor, but also performed "hands on " work as well. He has a detailed understanding of the entire house building process, and interacts with the subcontractors in an efficient manner. He is a skilled professional with an eye for detail, and thinks through suggestions for any improvements to the original design. When compared to other construction, the framing and finish work is among the best I have seen. He returns calls promptly, and is easy to work with. He was able to modify the original blueprint to accommodate our special needs and requests. If I were to build another home, I certainly would choose Lientz Construction

Lientz Construction build our Perry house in 1999. Since then we've used Mike for a major addition and remodels of both our Perry house, a house we purchased on Lake Panorama and a rental house in Des Moines. Every project went very well and turn out great. When issues did arise Mike addressed them in a very timely matter. Long term satisfied customer.

We couldn't ask for a better builder! Our house was very well made and just beautiful when done.
He gets the job done and even still comes back when we need repairs!
