Iowa Moving 1 provides a unique, affordable moving option. We are labor only (no truck provided). "You rent the truck. We do the work."
Our customers provide and drive the rental truck or trailer and our skilled movers provide the moving labor to load and or unload. We could save you up to 40% off the price of moving with the traditional full service moving companies.
Our company is a local , small business and our movers are insured, "A" rated on the Better Business Bureau, and "A" rated on Angie's List.
We enjoy helping our customers through the stressful time of moving. We provide tips and suggestions and are easily accessible. Many of our customers are repeat or referral customers and we enjoy the relationship we have established with our customers over the years.

Eric & his team did a great job for us, especially considering that it was over 100 degrees on the day we had scheduled. Eric also had great follow up both before & after our job was done.

There were no surprises or “gotchas”. I was constantly updated as to their arrival time. They unloaded household goods/ furnishings from a moving truck into a house. They were on-time & completed the work without the need for extra time/charges. It had rained the previous day & they protected against tracking mud throughout the home as best they could. I would use them again.

We hired Iowa Moving 1 to move some furniture between the inside of the house and our garage. The movers were professional, courteous and worked quickly. Some of the items were very bulky and they were very careful so as not to scratch any of the walls. The company's follow up and follow through before and after the job was very thorough. I highly recommend them and we plan to use them again.

Eric was the only mover who didn't charge for travel time, and he negotiated rates so it could be affordable. We got a lot accomplished in my one-hour move.
