Our customers provide and drive the rental truck or trailer and our skilled movers provide the moving labor to load and or unload. We could save you up to 40% off the price of moving with the traditional full service moving companies.
Our company is a local , small business and our movers are insured, "A" rated on the Better Business Bureau, and "A" rated on Angie's List.
We enjoy helping our customers through the stressful time of moving. We provide tips and suggestions and are easily accessible. Many of our customers are repeat or referral customers and we enjoy the relationship we have established with our customers over the years.

I was in desperate need of moving help for the very next day. I didn't have high hopes for a positive outcome, but I was wrong. Eric (the company owner) responded very quickly. He asked what I needed, info about the items to be moved, and what my timeline was. After answering those questions he explained the fee structure and what the cost would be. The service provided for two movers for two hours. I couldn't quite afford the amount for two movers as I had already paid for movers earlier who took my money but did not finish the move. Eric checked his schedule and said since I only had boxes and no heavy items or furniture he would do the job himself at a time that worked perfectly for both of us and at a rate I could manage. His work ethic, quality, and helpfulness was so very good. If I ever move again this will be my first phone call to set up service. I appreciate all that was done. I also stopped worrying as soon as I hired Iowa Moving 1!

We hired Iowa Moving 1 to move some furniture between the inside of the house and our garage. The movers were professional, courteous and worked quickly. Some of the items were very bulky and they were very careful so as not to scratch any of the walls. The company's follow up and follow through before and after the job was very thorough. I highly recommend them and we plan to use them again.

The two movers were very professional, quick to load everything but very careful not to damage walls, floors and packed items. They knew how to best load a truck. I was very impressed and will use them again. Thanks Thumbtack for a good referral and thanks Iowa Moving 1 to make my life so much easier at a reasonable price.

They were great to work with. I had a full truck and they came in the rain and unloaded it and got everything upstairs quickly. Very professional and a good crew to work with.
