FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The price of a financial plan starts at $2,500 and goes up from there depending on the complexity of your situation. The average client pays $2,500 for a financial plan. Half of the fee is due at the beginning to begin the financial planning process and then half of the fee is due 30 days later. Clients may want ongoing financial planning advice. In that case, there is a cost starting at $150/month.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process always starts with an initial consultation (discovery meeting). In that meeting we discuss what is on your mind and how we can help. We'll also discuss the information needed to create your financial plan. After the information is received, your financial plan is created and we meet again to review the plan. In this meeting, we determine the current path you are on and provide initial observations. Finally, you will receive reports and detailed recommendations for your financial plan. A meeting is scheduled to review the reports and recommendations. We will discuss how to implement the recommendations in this final meeting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional. The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification is the standard for financial planning. CFP® professionals meet rigorous education, training and ethical standards.
