- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing can vary a bit depending on the project: I charge a little more if I need to work on live high voltages, after normal business hours, in an attic or crawlspace, or at heights above normal.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New customers get either a verbal quote after supplying me with job information or I physically look at the project and give an estimate. For service calls an hourly, half day, or day rate can be used. Payment is required upon completion of work, I do not bill for payment unless discussed prior to project. If a client simply wants an estimate, I will be happy to look at the project, but will charge a fee equivalent to Thumbtack's "lead" fee, to offset costs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Completed 5 year apprenticeship, on the job training, continuing education to keep license up to date.
