I needed to convert a 30 year old barn in CDA with minimal electrical infrastructure to a more elaborate set up to support a new wood working shop. Services included expansion of the main panel, significant additional outlets, overhead lights, a ceiling fan as well as the addition of a 240V outlet for welding. All of the work was completed on time and within budget. After the project was competed, I changed my mind on the placement of the ceiling fan and NIE promptly made the change with no hassle or complaints. The work passed each inspection the first time. I highly recommend their work and plan to use them again for future projects.

Our house in Coeur d'Alene is a bit old fashioned so it needed GFCI for its wall outlets and surge protection. North Idaho Electrical came and installed GFCI breakers and a surge protector to upgrade our circuit panel board. Now our home is up to code and safe!North Idaho Electrical also installed two timer light switches by the doors for the home's outdoor wall sconce lights. Their electricians programmed the 2 timer light switches to turn on at dusk when the sun goes down and to turn off at 10pm. This is so fantastic because now I always come home to a well lit home and driveway.

Before I decided to upgrade to faster internet speeds, I wanted to prepare my home first. North Idaho Electrical did an outstanding job installing a Legrand On-Q 30 Inch Structured Media Enclosure in my home before my Ziply Fiber internet installation. Their electricians were punctual, professional, and very efficient with their time. The wiring and cable management are also neat and precise. The finished install looks very clean like the new home came with it already installed.The Structured Wiring Enclosure now houses our TP Link Tri Band BE19000 WiFi 7 Router Archer BE800 and Ziply Fiber modem with plenty of room for future upgrades. Because it is recessed in our centrally located pantry wall, it lets wireless signals reach throughout the house while keeping everything organized.They also ran CAT8 ethernet cables through our attic and into our office, giving us a hard wired fiber optic connection for our computer. The signal strength and network stability are fantastic. It's perfect for PC gaming and live streaming even when the rest of my family are watching movies HD on their TVs.If you need a Structured Media Center aka Media Panel, or Home Networking Cabinet installed, I strongly recommend North Idaho Electrical. They are experts in residential enclosures and low voltage cabinet installations and they get it done right the first time. Even the Ziply Fiber technicians remarked on how it was a very clean installation, making their jobs easier as well.
