"I couldn't be happier with the incredible service I received! VPC Electric was prompt, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed and fixed an issue I’d been struggling with for weeks, and their attention to detail was outstanding. Overpriced with no details on estimate.
2 technicians cane by to inspect for an estimate to install a new bathroom exhaust fan that I provided, in the space where I had already removed the previous fan myself. But their estimate itself was laughable. At $600! Had no breakdown about parts or labour or even what the $600 charge was for. When I questioned it, the office claimed it was because of quality parts. What parts?!! All they'd need to do was connect the existing wires into the new fan and switch.
I got another qualified electrician who installed it for $100+ and did a decent job. Thumbtack itself estimates such a job at $80-100.
I would have done it myself like I have done before if only I wasn't pregnant with a toddler on hand.

The guy from VPC stopped by the day after I called to give a quote for the work I needed. He diagnosed and determined he had what he needed to fix it on the spot. He was thorough so that some of what I thought needed to be replaced ended up working, so it cost less than I had thought it would. Overall very happy with the level of professionalism, competence and value for my time and money. I’d recommend, for sure!
