- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
First class is a free trial of 35 or 50 minutes.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we set up a day and time for a free trial class. During the class, we get to know each other and see how we work together. I assess the student's experience and goals. Then, I teach them something according to their level so they get a feeling for my teaching style and what to expect. If all goes well, we schedule a regular weekly time and I inform the parent which book to purchase before our next class.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started private piano with Classically trained professional Russian teachers from the age of 8, and started teaching my first student when I was 16. I continued lessons with several renowned pianist into my 20s. Teaching piano is a family business, as my mother is the head of her own piano studio and my mentor.
