FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Although we have used flat rate pricing in the past, currently we are basing our prices on time at $98/hour plus the materials expense. We do offer a price quote after an exterior inspection if that is something that the customer desires, but since we don't always know what we will be dealing with until we actually begin the work, usually the price we quote will be at worst case scenario. Some people are more comfortable with a set figure.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every situation is different. We like to get on the same page with you so that we address the issue from your perspective. We then assess the situation with our trained hands and eyes. Once we have determined the direction we believe is the best, we discuss this with the customer, if needed, before proceeding. That way, we can be sure that the result is just what you were hoping for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Continuing education is a requirement in both Idaho and Washington. We have continuing education in Plumbing, Heating, Soil Toxicology, Septic Systems, etc.
