Pamela Bain

Introduction: During the time I taught English and Spanish, my students rated well above the average at the end of each academic year. As a result of my record in teaching, I was appointed the Head of th English Dept. in the Papillion-LaVista Schools in Papillion/LaVista, NE My passion has always been teaching. My first teaching assignment was in Buhl, ID, where I taught Spanish I, II, III, and IV. It was the start of the audio/lingal method of teaching, and, the students learned to speak, read, and write the language. From there, I was assigned a poition at East JR. High School in Boise, ID, where I taught English, Spelling, Grammar, and Spanish to 8th and 9th grade students. After three years, I met my husband who was an Air Force officer. We eventially married and moved to California. Most of my life from this time on was devoted to raising my children and supporting the career of my Air Force husband. Once we moved to NE, I, again returned to my career as a teacher. Pamela J. Bain
