Introduction: With 30 yrs experience I understand personal appearance insecurity's. I spend time talking with the client so I understand what they are envisioning in their mind, so that we can make sure we are on the same page. I want them to finish their session with me feeling satisfied they are getting exactly the look the dreamed of. I also use Joe Blasco cosmetics which are formulated for film and television for that flawless look and they are not tested on animals. Good for you good for the planet. That every day I wake up and know it's going to be a different adventure. I get to create a new look for a different client. I'm going to change someones life in some little way with my makeup brush. I create confidence with the client knowing they look their absolute best. I also get to teach people who maybe didn't know that much about makeup and how to apply it. It is no longer a mystery or burden that they have to deal with to look good.

I got a chance to use Christl's professional services when she did the makeup for my (then) fiancee' at our wedding. Christl was top-notch professional beginning to end, always one-step ahead, was calm, cool and collected throughout the entire morning prior the even, then through the wedding till after all the touchups were needed for the ceremony and photos. I hope to never use Christl's services for a wedding again but only because she made a stunningly beautiful woman even more lovely and made it an event to last a lifetime with her artistry. I still do mostly commercial shoots, but I also do special occasions, teen makeup party's, makeovers and Halloween special effects & fantasy makeup .
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask if they will travel to location, ask to see a portfolio. Set up a consultation to see if you are comfortable with the look they can create for you. See what forms of payment they take and what kind of products they use. Do they suggest a specific skin care routine prior to the appointment.
