- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Sam received his BS in Music and Piano Performance from Dixie State University. He has enjoyed performing Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" as a special guest with Utah's Southwest Symphony Orchestra. Sam was awarded Outstanding Performance as well as the Pianist of the Year and Outstanding Music Theorist awards from Dixie State University's School of Visual and Performing Arts. He was also awarded the highly-esteemed Music Student of the Year award in 2016 at Dixie State University's Awards Night. Sam teaches general music to grades K-2 at George Washington Academy as a certified teacher for the school district, and was also the principal accompanist for the St George Chamber Singers for the 2016-2017 season.
