ONLINE LESSONS Welcome to My Studio! I’m Ayça Çetin, flutist and Assistant Professor of Flute at the University of Idaho. I’m passionate about sharing music through both performance and teaching, and I’ve had the joy of working with students from around the world at all levels — from beginners to aspiring professionals. My performance career has included solo and chamber music across the U.S. and internationally, orchestral work, participation in esteemed music festivals, and collaborations with a wide range of composers and performers. I served as the Principal Flutist of the Panama City Symphony Orchestra for five years and am a sponsored artist with Miyazawa Flutes. As a teacher with a doctoral degree in music and years of experience across varied levels and goals, I focus on practice efficiency, musicality, and injury prevention. My teaching style is flexible, holistic, and student-centered — designed to support your individual goals, musical growth, and personal expression. Whether you're preparing for a band audition, conservatory or grad school, want to improve your playing, or are just starting out on flute, I’d love to help you on your musical journey.

In this age of connection almost exclusively via Zoom and FaceTime, I didn’t know what to expect of a piano lesson on a screen, especially being an adult student who hasn’t taken any piano instruction since the age of 13!
