FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We use flat rate pricing, so you approve the price before we start any work. No hourly surprises and no charging you for a tech running to the supply house. Our service call fee is $59 and it covers a full diagnostic on your system. If you move forward with the repair, we waive it completely. Repairs and installs are quoted in writing with good, better, and best options so you can decide what fits your budget. We offer financing on new system installs through GreenSky with approved credit, and we honor manufacturer rebates and Idaho Power incentives when they apply. Maintenance plan members get priority scheduling and a discount on repairs. Our maintenance plans are very affordable, priced at just $149 per year which covers two trips to do a maintenance in the spring on your AC, and one in the fall on your furnace. An annual water heater flush is included in the plan as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a real person answering the phone, not a call center. We get your address, your equipment, and a clear description of what is going on, then we schedule you in a time window that works for your day. Our tech texts when he is on the way. Once on site, he runs a full diagnostic, documents everything with photos, and walks you through what he found before quoting anything. You get the price up front and you decide. Most repairs get done same day because our trucks carry common parts. After the job, you get an emailed invoice with photos attached and a follow up from our office to make sure everything is running the way it should.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are a licensed Idaho HVAC contractor and fully insured. Our technicians hold EPA Section 608 refrigerant certification and carry manufacturer training on the equipment we install. We run ongoing in house training on diagnostics, combustion safety, refrigerant charging, and code compliance, and every install is inspected to Idaho code. We also work directly with our suppliers and manufacturer reps for factory training when new equipment lines come out, so the tech in your home is current on what he is working on. For homeowner education, we offer a weekly blog on our website that teaches homeowners how to take care of their own systems.
