- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted a job that I was my own boss. I was tired of the same thing day in and day out. I wanted to make my own schedule so that my daughter had to be in minimal daycare. This was really the only thing I could think of, and I love it.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I like to do mostly residential cleaning because I meet new and interesting people everyday. You get to see all walks of life, and hear their stories. I like families with kids, as I get to see them grow from young children. But I will also take a move out from time to time too.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
My latest job was one for my landlord. He had me clean and paint a unit he owns. The people trashed the place top to bottom. The job took a little longer then I wanted to, but carpet was replaced, and a new paint job was needed. New doors and sinks that needed fixing, but after it was all done it was a totally new place. I was pretty proud of myself and my family.
