I found Charlie on Thumbtack late last year when I was looking for someone to replace my decking at my house in Cripple Creek, CO. It's a vacation rental and I was taking over managing it for 2016. I met Charlie and we discussed the project and I gave him the go ahead. He did all the project planning, measuring, and labor. I was amazed he was working in extreme cold, wind, and snow much of the time. The deck looks great now and I don't have to worry about it for at least 12-15 years. I also had Charlie do a bunch of other projects on the house, some easy and some requiring creative thinking. His high level of competence and work ethic really show through everything. I am very grateful to have found him. The Teller County area is notorious for overpriced competent contractors, if you can even find them. And the rest are a nightmare to work with. Charlie did everything at a fair price and communicated very well throughout, which was important since I was not on location for the work. I like to listen carefully to the customer to get a good idea of his needs and concerns, then try to come up with a solution that will work

I studied art in college which I believe gave me a good eye for design and function. I mentored under a highly respected contractor in Seattle Washington
