- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
This job is not recent but I am very proud of it and I wear the result as a badge of honor. I was working for a coupon cleaner ($5.95 per room) that all of you have seen in the advertisements. I was sent to a nice 80 yr old ladies to clean her 5 rooms of carpet. The carpet was very dirty almost unhealthy. When I was given the ticket I was told this is worth $400 plus. She didn't have t5hat kind of money, she was ready to cry when I wrote the ticket up, We talked and I did the job for $125. A fair amount for me and a reasonably cost to her. The coupon cleaner fired me for not being agressive enough.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Browse their website and get to know the type of services they offer and the type of feedback they get from clients. You should always feel comfortable with the service providers you invite into your home. We are a family owned business, we are also the ones that do all the work.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Not ALL cleaners are alike. Some of us are actually customer oriented, although we are the tiny minority we do exisist.
