FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is very fair by comparison to others with my skill level in my trade. I will not say that I am the cheapest, but cheap is a relative term when compared to skill. In other words, "Skilled Carpenters are rarely cheap and cheap Carpenters are rarely skilled."
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to meet them first before ever offering a quote on a project. Both to get a feel for their style and to provide information to help them develop a good or better idea of exactly what they want. In my experience, I rarely see the initial project being the final result. There are too many options and styles to consider to just quote a number and "go with it". I want my customer's to be happy and comfortable with their decision making and not regretful that they didn't explore all the available options.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a third generation carpenter raised and learning the trades from the time I could swing a hammer which was about 5 years old. I continued developing my skills with master Carpenters from the area until I recently in the last years, chose to build on my own and have been doing so ever since
