- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer new Client Sellers a $500 discount off the cost of their title insurance closing costs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you are selling your home, my job is to represent you in your negotiations with the buyer for contract modifications and requested repairs. After that, I order and prepare all the Seller documentation that are required to legally transfer title from you the seller to the buyer. If you are a Buyer, I will represent you in our negotiations to make necessary modifications the contract and have Seller agree to make your requested repairs. I monitor contingency dates and help you prepare for your closing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Southern Illinois University. I worked for a Title Insurance Company for 11 years. I ran my own law firm for the rest of my career practicing real estate law and estate planning.
