FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is very flexible and I am open to discussing options with my customer. In general, I quote $3 per page for proofreading, $5 per page for copyediting, and $7 per page for content editing. For writing projects, I prefer to quote by the hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My job is to do whatever is best and easiest for the customer. I think it's important to get to know the person I am working with just a bit so I better understand their thought process and desires for the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with a BFA in Creative/Fiction Writing from Columbia College, where I was handpicked by the faculty on multiple occasions to serve as a departmental tutor for underclassmen, a student teacher for a rowdy class of fifth graders, and an Acquisitions Editor for the department's award-winning student anthology. I am also a contributor at Hypertext Magazine, an online literary journal, conducting interviews, brainstorming ideas, and copyediting and proofreading whenever needed.
