- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a great way of continuing my education. I work in a large factory doing HVAC. I work with 1 other man and we care for over 325 units, some as large as some of the homes I go into. Most of the units are 30 years old so we have to work hard to keep them runing every day.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in machine repair in a large factory around Peoria. I jumped trades to HVAC to be able to work the day shift. I really love this line of work, so much so that I started Morris Heating and AC, Inc. Nowadays I work both jobs. I use the same suppliers in both jobs, so I get great service from the supplier which I can pass down to my customers
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask for testimonials, not one or two, get many. Look for providers that are on web pages like Thumbtack.com who manage testimonials from customers like yourself. These are from people that have worked with the provider in their home, sometimes for many hours. They know the provider for who they really are.
