Introduction: I am a first grade teacher who is licensed to teach pre-k through 3rd grade. My focus is on reading through phonemic awareness and phonics. I am also able to help with math and writing as well. As I do in my classroom I start with an assessment to determine what you know so i can make a lesson plan catered to your needs. With 4-5 years old I suggest once a week for 3 minutes. For 6-8 year old I suggest two 30 minute sessions or one 60 minute session a week, I do assessments weekly to make sure students are retaining the information taught.
