I liked the fast action. I asked for help. Their young lady called me right away. Then Roger came to my house and gave me a quote the next day. He made arrangements according to my schedule. On that date, he arrived on time and installed my storm doors perfectly. Other estimates I had were not fast-acting, and price quotes were unreasonable.

This was the best experience. We had a major door issue that others could not accomplish. They had to rebuild the frame that was ruined by another installer.
Also they were very polite and cleaned up. I will be using Grabinski and sons as n the future.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer competitive pricing.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, if you need a door installed, we will first set up a free estimate to measure the opening and do a site check. We will check things like handing, obstacles, if additional materials are needed, etc. An important part of this free estimate is to find out what the customer needs/wants.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Licensing! Insurance! Permits! Check your local ordinance to see if you need a permit to do the work you are requesting. Some require permits for door installation, some don't. This is something you want to discuss with your contractor as well. It is easy to get a license for your community, but you may have additional fees. Some communities take longer to finalize permits, so keep that in mind. If the contractor does not have insurance, he will not be able to get the permits. We don't recommend hiring someone who does not have insurance.
