- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A compassionate heart with a Bachelor's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Roosevelt University in 2005, my career trajectory evolved towards a profound commitment to community and education. In 2015, I achieved registration as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) in Illinois, enabling me to focus on underserved communities, including the developmentally disabled, urban families, students, and others. In 2013, I founded The Saboire Group, Inc., a platform that combines media, healthcare initiatives, and education to empower individuals of all backgrounds. We are unwavering in our dedication, bridging disparities in disability, race, and age, while nurturing compassion, facilitating learning, and expanding financial opportunities. Our ultimate goal is to drive economic progress in both urban and rural settings. My extensive educational journey spans diverse disciplines, including market research data collection, business-to-business and consumer retail sales, developmental research for healthcare corporations, and holding an Illinois life insurance license. Since last century, I've honed my expertise through certifications such as Travel and World Tourism from CCC - Truman College, Century 21 Real Estate Agent instruction, and studies in International Hospitality Restaurant Marketing and Management at Kendall College Chicago. My academic journey also includes Human Resources Administration at Northeastern Illinois University, Photography and Art History at Columbia College - Chicago, Geriatric Sociology at Western Illinois University in Macomb, and Linguistics at DePaul University. This diverse educational background enriches my ability to connect with people from all walks of life, contributing to my mission of fostering empowerment and growth within communities.
