My wife and I (from Grand Rapids, MI) are staying near O'Hare Airport for a week of appointments and sightseeing in Chicago. Tonight, we wanted a fun, affordable night out without heading all the way into the city, so we found this small venue on Google Maps. Parking was easy, prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was welcoming, simple, and cozy. We saw "Live From BABS, It's Saturday Night!" (07/26/2025, 8:00 PM), which featured live music, original sketches, improv, and video segments. The comedy was hit or miss, but Tre Walker stood out, and the whole show just had an overall joyful, easygoing vibe. Both the cast and audience were fully engaged, and its obvious that Emily, the owner, pours her heart and soul into the space. I don't even know her and I'm proud of what she's created. Its an easy 5 stars from me. Id gladly come back and will be telling my local friends to check it out.

Amazing comedy club! Fun intimate vibe. Really funny stand up performers. No drink minimums, But prices are super reasonable if you choose to have a drink or two. Super fun stand up open mic on Thursdays and the host is also hilarious!

My favorite comedy club. Emily runs a room that is comfortable for both the comedians and the audience. Every single time I come to BABS I feel welcome, and laugh my ass off.

Such a great new comedy venue! Really cool vibe, homely and welcoming, nice selection of cans and the owners are amazing. Enjoyed the Open Mic night and the kidprov afternoon was excellent.

Holy hilarious, Batman! My wife and I were looking for something fun to do for our date night and discovered Babs Comedy Club, online. We were greeted by the owner who was very friendly, welcoming, and (we later learned) super funny! I don't think we've laughed that hard or for so long in a LONG time. There were about 5 comedians and a pianist performing improv which was truly amazing, you'd think it was pre-rehearsed but impossible as they use crowd feedback to shape their skits. The pianist is available for contract work if you need him to follow you around & provide mood enhancing background music! LMBO Admission was very cheap as were drinks. We've decided this will be a "go to" for later date nights. Thank you for a great and memorable evening, we're still laughing at some of the jokes that stuck in our heads :)
