FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No one should be priced out of legal representation. My hourly rate is designed to be competitive and my initial retainer is based on the complexity of your case. For example a high value asset divorce case will require extensive review of discovery, and will most likely involve other issues, such as the division of retirement assets, maintenance (formerly known as alimony) and often child custody issues. On the other hand a single issue case, like a review of child support, usually takes much less time to complete and can be fairly straight forward.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every case begins with an initial consultation and thorough review of your case. I use an online document signing app, so that court documents may be signed without having to printout, rescan, and resend documents back to me. My firm is paperless and I use a secure and backed up system to preserve your file.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a 2014 graduate of the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL. I have spent the last 5 years practicing family law and criminal defense. In addition to being a lawyer, I am also a veteran and a father, so I bring a unique perspective to my work and a dedication to your case.
