Daniel has been wonderful to work with. He is though with his knowledge base and explanation of our puppy’s behavior even when it was not ideal! Would definitely use him again for any dog obedience training!Jan 4, 2020Verified
The trainer had my dogs being obedient right away and taught me the skills to manage their behaviors. I am looking forward to working with him.Nov 7, 2019Verified
Daniel was critical in changing our whole home dynamic. We have a big and a little pup that we needed to train. We had to first understand the bad “human” habits that led to naughty pups. He corrected us without shaming us or being preachy. In the first lesson, I felt like I had better control of both dogs! He’s truly a “dog whisperer”!Jan 18, 2019

I am a true believer in the work of CLEAR and its founder, Daniel Charles. I have known him for about 5 years now and watched him develop his trade with compassion and care for the dogs he works with. I have seen him train professional dog walkers in how to deal with difficult dogs. But most of all his knowledge of "dog psychology", for lack of a better way to describe it, has taken me from terrified of pit bulls to understanding. He trains dogs from the Psychology of Dogs and his techniques have garnered instant success. There is no one more knowledgeable, more dedicated, more compassionate or more successful the CLEAR's Founder Daniel Charles!!!Sep 19, 2018Review from Facebook
We’ve only started with Daniel but we have been able to see an improvement after one meeting with him. He gave us tips to get us started and they have been working. It’s definitely a work in progress but I was able to take my dog out for a walk with less pulling than usual. Would definitely recommend. He’s very professional, responds within a reasonable time. We’re very happy with him after our initial meeting.Jan 28, 2019Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My consultation is $120 and lasts 2 hours. I take the first hour to listen, observe and ask questions. The second hour is more hands on, me demonstrating how I interact and work with your Dog. My lessons are $200 for 2 hours and take place in your home. Prices increase with longer travel distances. Most of my clients only need 4 lessons maximum, but it all depends on an individual situation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I start with an in person evaluation and lesson in the home to get the best understanding of the situation. It's also a great time to ask me any questions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have Loved Dogs my whole life. I began training Dogs in San Francisco, CA under a master trainer and have also trained under other master trainers in Chicago as well. I have also spent years studying and observing Dog communication, psychology and behavior. The Dog has been my greatest teacher.
