FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always working on new material, both for my upcoming performances and for my general abilities to be a better guitarist. The great thing about music is that you never stop exploring new ideas.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began teaching guitar to support myself in college. At some point I realized that I'm particularly equipped for it and enjoy helping people learn.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Beginner guitar lessons focus more on playing songs. Many of my students choose to focus on more specific things like improvisation or composition, often in Jazz, Rock, or Blues genres. Music theory is a common topic as well as building technique.
