- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually charge flat fees for my services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Consultation (usually in person depending on the area of law they are requesting) followed by a follow-up appointment, if I am retained, to fill out forms or notarized documents and for the clients final review. At that point, a case file for the client is opened. Other areas of law require more active actions, like real estate,
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a J.D. and an active Illinois law degree. I am authorized to practice before the Immigration Court and the Federal U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. I have provided pro Bono services to the National Lawyers Guild Mass Defense Comittee for Criminal Defense protest cases, Centro Sin Fronteras, NEIU, etc. I have spoken at various Know Your Rights Workshops and was on WGN for Immigration.
