My work stands out from the rest of the cabinetmakers because I am a perfectionist. I have over 17 years of experience in woodworking, particularly in building custom cabinetry & installing trim carpentry. I offer my personal design vision to complement the client's preferences in order to achieve a product that is unique yet functional. My clients see the pride in my work and appreciate the personal attention that goes into each phase, from the design process to the finishing process. I enjoy creating new designs that serve to function as well as provide a pleasing aesthetic. I also enjoy experimenting with new products and learning various processes to challenge myself and be at the top of my game. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I pride myself in utilizing the latest technology available, from the products I use to build the cabinets from the software I use to design. I also keep up to date with the National Kitchen and Bath Association, visiting the trade shows for the latest and greatest.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My parents started building cabinets before I was born. From a young age, my father taught me about cabinet making and carpentry. After working in the mortgage industry for a few years, I started my own business, ICG Customs. I specialize in custom cabinetry and also enjoy other custom projects, such as furniture making.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common type of jobs are custom kitchens and trim carpentry. Everyone wants a beautiful kitchen and I can supply to widest range of options with quality as standard. My clients come to me for trim carpentry because I am a perfectionist. My joints are all mitered for a seamless, tight fit.
