FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on the number of notarial acts, appointment location, and the type of service requested. For mobile appointments, the Illinois notarial fee is charged separately from any applicable mobile service, travel, parking, toll, or waiting-time fees. All charges are disclosed before the appointment. Electronic and remote online notarization pricing will be quoted separately for eligible documents once my Illinois electronic notary authorization is active.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin by confirming the type of notarization needed, number of signers, appointment location, preferred date and time, and whether the service will be mobile or electronic when available. I then provide a clear quote and confirm the appointment. At the appointment, I verify identification, complete the authorized notarial act, and provide a receipt or invoice when requested. My goal is to make the process straightforward, professional, and convenient from start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an Illinois commissioned Notary Public with professional training in notarization procedures and electronic notarization. I am also NNA-trained as a Notary Signing Agent and have a professional background in corporate paralegal work, legal operations, compliance, document management, and transactional support. My legal background has given me extensive experience working with sensitive documents, maintaining confidentiality, following detailed instructions, and handling important records accurately.
