I’ve been trying all summer to get this pool in! I finally gave up the DIY route and put an SOS on Thumbtack. Jay responded and within a couple days, he and one other dude came to finish the job. They knocked it out in less than 8 hours! They busted serious ass to get it done and on a super hot day! I might not have enjoyed the pool all summer but at least I got some swims in, thanks to Jay!

Jay was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to take care of all my issues. I had 2 rust spots that had caused a leak, and when Jay inspected the problem, he found several more very small issues that he repaired as well. He was very thorough and even cleaned my filter for me free of charge! I highly recommend Jay for any pool repair you need!

If you’re thinking about hiring him. DO IT! He took on all my stress of 5 illiterate people and 2 days worth of work and turned it into a one man job done in under 2 hours. WOW wow wow!!! ZERO STARS — A COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME
This was one of the worst and most unprofessional service experiences I have ever had. I called off work and lost money so I could be available to assist with the pool repair. We reviewed the weather forecast beforehand, and he clearly told me that the weather would not be a problem.
On the scheduled day, he asked whether it was raining. I immediately told him there was no rain at my location and that it had stopped for hours. I asked what the plan was so I would know what was going on. Instead of communicating or showing up, he stopped responding completely. Several days have now passed, and I still have not received an explanation, apology or follow-up.
His behavior during our previous conversation also made me extremely uncomfortable. He asked what I did for a living, made assumptions about me based on my size by asking whether I played football, and commented on how I was dressed. He then said, “I know you got $8,000.” Those comments were inappropriate, unprofessional and had absolutely nothing to do with evaluating or repairing my pool.
I cannot state what his personal motive was, but as an African American customer, the assumptions, comments and dismissive treatment left me genuinely concerned that I was being judged based on my race, appearance and body size. I did not feel respected or taken seriously as a paying customer.
He wasted my time, caused me to lose income and then disappeared without the basic courtesy of a response. I would never recommend this company to anyone looking for dependable, respectful or professional service.
