I had to replace my door quickly in my apartment in the city. I tried this site out to see if anyone could help me out on short notice. Dan gave me an accurate quote (I compared it with Home Depot) and was able to get to my place within 24 hours of the request. He brought all that he needed based on the little information I gave him and did a great job. He even went the extra mile to come back and finish up my interior frame, which wasn't necessarily part of the job.

Great work at a very reasonable price. Crown molding had clean finishes with a very professional finish. Picked up the trim from Home Depot and completed the job without any help.

Daniel was great. We had a pretty clear idea of what we wanted to do for our custom built ins. Daniel was very accommodating. He visited our home to do an in house consultant and drew up sketches before we agreed to the scope. He also made a separate visit to our home to show us the wood before we started the project. We felt very confident about what we would be getting. There was a slight delay for the install, but Daniel kept us in the loop. The final product looks great. Very happy with this and are already working with Daniel on another millwork project for our home.

Coda Carpentry installed custom French doors and a transom window between two rooms in my condo. Daniel took the time to really understand my vision for the doors and to keep the style/look similar to other doors in my condo. My unit is vintage and has many original features so matching that took time and thoughtfulness. The doors looks gorgeous and are exactly what I had invisioned! Highly recommended!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
After what I thought was just a chance decision, it turns out that the trades, and carpentry in particular, have a history in my family.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recently I gutted a basement bathroom, expanded the shower, installed nearly 1000 4"x4" individual ceramic tiles, and built a custom vanity for long-time clients and friends. They could not have been happier, which, in turn makes me even more happy.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Quality and craftsmanship go a long way in ensuring your overall happiness with a contractor.
