During the initial correspondences before awarding the provider the job, the customer should take note of how quickly the provider follows up with a proposal or breakdown of the job, and how thorough their understanding is of what the customer is looking for. This could weed out providers who may encounter snags in the middle of the job or take longer than expected to complete the job.
