FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As a general practice, Harold utilizes the first interview to determine what issues one wants to work on. Then as a result of a thorough two hour interview he begins to formulate a plan with the client to determine how best to utilize hypnosis to begin life altering changes. If the client decides not to proceed then there will never be any charge. If the client and Harold decide to proceed with hypnosis, then a charge of $50.00 will be the fee for this session and any that follow regardless of the length of time per session. All sessions will at least be one hour long.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely, the National Guild of Hypnotists requires continuing education credits on a yearly basis to stay certified. Along with local meeting chapters where training is also continued. NGH also has yearly training when they have their annual convention. As a Hypnotists I also feel the need to keep on top of the latest research in my field. For me it is such an exciting field I just try to continually learn all I can about it.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I work with common every day individuals to help them solve problems of everyday living. My methods are tailored to the individual. Some hypnotist try to fit everyone that walks through their door into the method they have learned. I call my practice a "person centered hypnosis" in that the method utilized is fitted to the individual and their problem. I also offer the first session free, and for some people this is all they need. Of course the outcome is determined by the individual and how they respond.
