Introduction: I have been involved in DJ'ing and performing since the mid 1980's as a dance mix DJ hosting weddings, block parties and holiday events ever since. I am also a professional nightclub and radio mix DJ specializing in old school house, Top 40 and club dance music, performing weekly on worldwide internet radio "Strictly Dance Radio". I have performed in Miami South Beach for the Winter Music Conference the last few years with the station and have also performed at several clubs throughout the US and Mexico. I love meeting and performing for new people, trying to gauge a crowd as to what music they may like to dance to is the hardest skill any DJ can master. I feel I have a knack for it, and my former clients can confirm!

I've hired Dwayne for several different occasions. I had him for my sons graduation party, my birthday party, my family reunion, my niece and nephews 1st communion and even for my friends and sisters baby shower... Yes I said baby shower. My friends baby shower was the 1st baby shower he's done but he knew exactly what she wanted and from my understanding he's fine more baby showers since then including my sisters which was a surprise baby shower and I already have him booked for my daughters graduation party in June. He was amazing each and every time.. If there are kids at parties he makes sure he interacts with them by playing games such as musical chairs and hula hoop contest. When he DJs for you, you're the boss.. If there is something that you don't want played, he won't play it even if one of your guest request it. I've had people looking for a DJ and would automatically jump to him and give them his information so they can contact him. I would recommend his services to anyone.

DJ Dwayne was the DJ at my wedding. He was amazing! He even slowed down a song with me for my father/daughter dance! He got everyone out on the dance floor and ran the night smoothly! Love him!!!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Along with being involved with a worldwide internet radio station, I belong to several DJ music pools and keep all of my music up to date, especially with "kid friendly" versions of songs. I have a 10 year old daughter and a 15 year old son, so I'm on the ball with everything going on in the music world....
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My love for music and being able to play music that made people smile and dance.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have done weddings, but throughout the summer, block parties, surprise birthdays, fashion shows, boat cruises and of course nightclubs throughout Chicago and elsewhere.
