FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My mentor was the best of the best, and he learned from the best. When something isn't broken you don't have to fix it.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father actually forced me to start working for a big hardwood flooring outfit. At first it was not what I wanted to do. But after my first year I created a passion for hardwood flooring like no other. I found art in designing different borders and types of inlays. I don't only do it for the money. I am so proud after I put the final coat on an old floor and it looks like new again.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
One of the more common types of jobs would be to maybe re-sand a staircase, install a new hardwood floor in a room that had carpet and re-sand existing hardwood flooring. After our team has finished they end up with a project that looks like it was all completed at one time.
