FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on job complexity, travel, and materials (cable, mounts, connectors, wall plates, etc.). I charge hourly for troubleshooting and diagnostics, and I’m happy to provide flat-rate pricing for common installs (mesh WiFi setups, Starlink installs, and ethernet runs) once I understand the scope. Minimum service call may apply depending on distance and project type. Any material costs are always discussed up front—no surprise charges.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. I ask a few quick questions about your setup and what you’re trying to accomplish (coverage issues, new install, wiring needs, etc.). 2. I confirm scheduling and expectations so there are no surprises. 3. On-site I start with a quick assessment (WiFi signal/placement, wiring paths, equipment health). 4. I complete the install or repair with clean workmanship and cable management. 5. Before I leave, I verify performance and walk you through the setup (network name/password, device connections, app setup if needed).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 10+ years of hands-on telecom and RF field experience, including RF systems, network integrations, point-to-point bridges, fixed wireless, small cells, and structured cabling. My work focuses on doing things the right way: correct mounting, clean cable routing, proper terminations, cable testing, and stable network performance.
