Sweet Cassava catered my husband's 40th birthday party. We had 60 guests for a cocktail party with heavy hor d'oeuvres. Susan was fantastic to work with and helped with every detail - from the food planning to finding a bartender (who worked out great!!) to helping me figure out what I needed to rent for the party (and placing the order!) to offering ideas for decor - she really helped me make the party a perfect event.
The food was delicious! She really listened to what I wanted and offered many options from which to select. My husband loves Mexican food so Susan made upscale Mexican hor d'oeuvres like empanadas, tamales, shrimp skewers, an ahi tuna app with a kick, and on and on. She also does amazing desserts, so we had a yummy dessert buffet. Everyone raved about the food. And she and her assistant did all of this in our small kitchen (after prepping in their commercial kitchen). And the price was reasonable, too! So I would recommend Sweet Cassava for your next party. You won't be disappointed.

Susan catered my 'retirement' aka following her dream party in evanston at my art studio. She was excited to take on my challenge of a vegan event.... she came with loads of ideas and the food was fresh and fabulous. Everyone loved and raved about the food and she made it super easy for me. I would highly recommend and will use Susan again in the future.

The team, the service, the level of detail and of course the food - all amazing!!!
We had a couple of food allergies at the party and every tray passed had options that were specially made for these guests.
I selected Sweet Cassava on the reviews alone... But now I know she is amazing first hand!!!!
