It's becoming clear to me I won't ever be Ginger Rogers--but with Aleksandar Bonev of North Shore Ballroom Dance Society that is just fine: He not only greets you personally at the door with water, and never rushes you out, even if it's over time, he is both a master teacher, patiently showing an practicing the steps over and over, as many times as is needed, but patient and sensitive to what you own individual challenges are. You feel that it's okay to be imperfect in his presence, and he is willing to work with you not just on the steps of the various dances, but also in terms of scheduling and finances. He is an absolute pleasure to work with.

Excellent intro lesson! Olga was fun, funny, and a great teacher for a couple of beginners. And I was super-impressed with how responsive they were - even got a same-day lesson. Great start to my dancing... “career” :)

Usually We recommend setting up an introduction lesson, where We can meet with our future students, discuss their goals and of course dance.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Aleksandar Bonev is a Professional dancer, fully certified instructors and choreographers with over 24 years of training and over 12 years of teaching experience.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Aleksandar has decided to bring their knowledge, experience, and passion of dance to the United States in 2011. They formed North Shore Dance Society in 2013 after having spent several years teaching and training at several franchised studios in Chicago.
