Olga was our instructor. She was very punctual and made the most of the space provided (Olga came to us for our lesson). Olga was great teaching us our mother-son dance. When one of us wasn’t doing something well, she was very sweet in how she gave correction. Most of all, she made the lesson very enjoyable and productive.

Aleksandar is a lovely dance instructor. He answered my request in looking for a local instructor promptly and I had an uplifting session with him. Thank you, Aleksandar, for a great lesson and wonderful support. Had I stayed in the area, I would have continued further lessons with him.

I contacted North Shore Ballroom because I was looking for a place to begin taking lessons. I had taken ballroom classes many years ago and wanted to pick it up again. Alexsander is a fantastic teacher! He is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, and he immediately set me at ease. I had forgotten how much fun partnered dancing was until going to North Shore. I am extremely excited to continue lessons and cannot wait to see where this takes me.

Excellent intro lesson! Olga was fun, funny, and a great teacher for a couple of beginners. And I was super-impressed with how responsive they were - even got a same-day lesson. Great start to my dancing... “career” :)

Usually We recommend setting up an introduction lesson, where We can meet with our future students, discuss their goals and of course dance.

Aleksandar Bonev is a Professional dancer, fully certified instructors and choreographers with over 24 years of training and over 12 years of teaching experience.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Aleksandar has decided to bring their knowledge, experience, and passion of dance to the United States in 2011. They formed North Shore Dance Society in 2013 after having spent several years teaching and training at several franchised studios in Chicago.
