Jack was prompt when arriving to our place to bid out the job. He gave a price on the spot & was very fair in his pricing. He has now completed the job & again showed up at the times he said he would to do the job each day. We had our driveway re sealed, new parking spots added and additional sealing down our road. All work was done when Jack promised & everything looks good. I would recommend Jack to anyone who needs any asphalt work done.

It starts with the start...he very quickly came by to give us an estimate after inspecting the required work. We accepted on a hand shake his offer. We were told that he would come back as the weather dictated which he did today. Work was done neatly and quickly. At the end he pointed out that he had heard thunder and if the rain came and affected the work he would be back. The rain came about an hour after the work was completed. So, the way he worked makes us very sure he will, without our calling him, stop by in a day or so to check the work to see if any retouching needs to be done. Sometimes you just know when your dealing with a honest person and that is what Jack is.

While not the least expensive bid, they seemed to be the most knowledgeable of the 5 bids we had. So we took a chance. Their work is exceptional. He understood our rain drainage problem and system. It has rained since completion and worked wonderfully. I would recommend them again. You get what you pay for.

Stl asphalt was very easy to work with. The first meeting they were able to clearly tell me their process and plan for my driveway. Harry was very personable and made me feel at ease with hiring them. They showed up when they said they would and did what they said they would. They communicated with me throughout the process. They sent the proposal and invoice through email and I was able to pay with a credit card. Already recommended them to a neighbor and will recommend them in the future.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each job is priced on a job to job basis. That way a customer does not pay more than they should as with companies that have large minimum prices.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will get to know what the customer expects and what they want done by listening. Afterwards I will give every customer my honest opinion about what I think is best and a realistic expectation of what I can and cannot do. I never promise more than I can deliver but I do make sure the customer gets what they want at the lowest price.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Well, each job is a learning experience. But by using knowledge from working as a teenager for my dad and uncle's in their businesses and also from my own past jobs, I'm able to provide a service that I have confidence in.
