John of JRS Designs worked a miracle for me, coming in clutch with a design for my publishing imprint. I relayed to him what I saw in my mind, and he made it even better than I envisioned. He got it done in record time and was a complete professional throughout the whole process. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Absolute professional in every aspect. Work that was provided met the idea presented with very minor changes needed in first attempt. All my graphicdesign needs will not go to another company but will stay here at JRS Photography.
Details: I have some ideas in mind • I need multiple versions of the same logo (e.g., different formats to use in different places - horizontal, vertical) • Text and image(s) • Corporation / business • Phone or internet (no in-person meeting) • I travel to the logo designer

John contacted me right away and was eager to get to work. He took the design I had in my head and quickly put it on paper and made it even better than I had imagined! I was very particular about how it needed to look and he was patient with me and made it perfect! I will definitely work with him again on future projects.
JRS Designs's reply
I look forward to working with you again. Keep in touch.

John worked diligently with me to meet my specifications and expectations regarding a logo for my business. I appreciated the fact that he was willing to point out to me what could be better options, with coloring and design, without forcing them on me.

I submitted a request for a graphicsdesigner to create a logo for my startup at 4:44am on April 27, 2017 and John provided a quote within 16 minutes at 5:00am. I reviewed his website and absolutely LOVED his work. His same day 55-minute phone consultation was incredibly thorough and he asked questions that I hadn't thought about with regard to the logo. Within 2 days, he turned our discussion about my company's logo into a beautiful piece of art and I literally cried when I saw it because my business dreams had come to life. We spent 8 days tweaking the design because I kept changing my mind, but John was such a professional and made the changes per my request. He used his experience to create the color scheme, layout, etc. and this was just truly an awesome experience. I’ve already recommended John’s services to my friend who is starting a business and will continue to recommend him to anyone who is looking for someone to create a logo or other graphicsdesign projects.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My photography and graphic design prices are negotiable and reasonable, depending on the deadline given and amount of work needed. I do offer discounts for military (active duty, reserve, guard, retired, IRR and veteran), law enforcement, fire department, EMT and government personnel. If you are a high school senior with intentions of joining the military, I will give you a discount on your portraits provided you show me official documentation from a military recruiter that lists your departure date for basic training.
For graphic design, I only charge a flat fee. I do not charge for editing, sizing or formatting nor do I charge for edits done to a logo one year after services are complete. I will provide you different formats and sizes for each media platform you wish to advertise your business on. I also include a vector file in the event I am not reachable due to my military schedule. I can also provide a template for business cards, pamphlets, flyers, banners, signs and booklets for an additional small fee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will contact the client and ask what work they need done, the details of the assignment and when the deadline is. I will do whatever I can to accommodate their needs to make my job easier and their experience more enjoyable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a 2005 and 2015 graduate of the Defense Information School for both public affairs and military photojournalism.
I'm also a 2018 graduate of the Art Institute of Indianapolis with a Bachelor's of Science in Graphic Design.
