What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The amount of work required varies wildly from project to project, so I charge either a stipulated sum, a competitive $125/hr, or some combination of the two.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will go through a number of complimentary consultations to discuss your needs and explore your dreams. For every project, first we gather as much info as we can to develop a detailed scope of work and provide a fee proposal. Due diligence research will be performed relating to local ordinances and adopted building codes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's of Science in Design (BSD) and a Master's of Architecture both from the University of Nebraska. After that I worked for a Surveying and Civil Engineering firm in Estes Park, Colorado for one year. Then at an Architecture firm in Boise, Idaho for a decade, gaining my first state license in 2017. I started PCA in 2020.
