First of all, we are truly sorry that you experienced such a stressful and upsetting situation. We would like to clarify one important point: we received your message at 9:00 PM, when our team was already asleep after a long workday. The review was posted about 10 minutes later, before we had any opportunity to read or respond. We would never ignore a client’s concern, especially something as serious as this. Regarding the dresser — the drawers were not opened and not removed. They remained inside the dresser the entire time. Since there were items inside and the initial shrink wrap was minimal, our movers only added additional wrap to secure the drawers properly and prevent them from sliding open during transport. Nothing was taken out of the drawers by our team. We would also like to mention that, according to standard moving policy, drawers should be emptied and their contents packed into boxes before the move. This is recommended to prevent shifting or damage to items inside during transport. When furniture is lifted and adjusted to safely fit through doorways, items left inside can sometimes move. It is possible that the iPhone shifted within the drawer during handling. We are truly sorry this happened and we did try to assist you in locating it. Please understand that an old, locked iPhone has no value to us. There is absolutely no reason for our company to risk its reputation over something like that.
