Hiring a contractor for anything these days is a hit-or-miss affair. Finding Irvin, by contrast, was an out-of-the-park homerun. He is highly skilled, a good listener, and conducts his business with integrity which is rare these days. I had been struggling to complete a backyard deck for over two months. I'm handy, but not necessarily skilled when it comes to the tricks of the trade, and the project became overwhelming. Irvin responded immediately to my quote request, showed up to look at the job in the morning and on a holiday no less, then stayed until 7 pm to complete the project. At one point three-quarters the way through, he discovered my prior work was causing the boards to deflect into a bow shape. Without complaint, he removed and re-did my faulty work which cost him another couple hours, but when all was said and done, he never asked for a penny more than his original quote. Going forward, I will only hire Irvin whenever I need carpentry work done on my properties.

Irvin is a great handyman. The first project was installing a slat wall panel for my garage and he did it with precision, the second project was installing my pergola under the scorching heat of the sun without complaining or raising the price because of the difficulty.

We then decided to build a small deck for our pergola and he made it just for 1 day. Irvin is now our "hired handyman" he is not only good but with a very easy going approach on things and honest.

Fix a big problem with my stairs going to basement. Trustworthy, knowledgeable, does great work, and prices are very fair for the kind of quality work. This man does. I’ve asked him to come back and re-tile two of my bathrooms, along with some other things like stair rails and enclosures in the outside. As you can tell, I couldn’t be happier with working with this man.
