Andy was completely professional from start to finish. Responded quickly, was out for a quote when he said he would be, and showed up on time for the job the next day. I mention this because we had another guy come out for a quote on a different job and he showed up 30 minutes early, at 6:30am - supposed to be here at 7:00 - and then he left a nasty message that he was a few minutes early and it inconvenienced him that we weren't available. Amazing. Andy was the opposite - consummate professional and nice to work with. The first thing he did was put down a drop cloth from the door to the basement door where he would be working - before he even brought a tool downstairs. You have to love someone with that kind of attention to detail. I was shocked - having had plenty of craftspeople make a mess and not care. He worked quickly, had the whole basement floored with the laminate we picked up in 6 hours - again, I was shocked. No running out the truck to take phone calls or needing to go to the store to get more supplies (again, other tradespeople). I was so happy with his work, professionalism, and responsiveness, I recommended him to two of my neighbors that night and we're all pretty picky when it comes to hiring someone to do work around the house. I would hire Andy again in a minute if I needed it. You won't be sorry.

I first came into contact with Andy at ZAS back in April of 2023. I was looking to put hardwood flooring in an unfinished auxillary office space in my condo. that had some serious leveling issues. Several other flooring contractors had come out and opined that they would be unable to work with the room in its current condition, but not Andy. Andy immediately went into problem solving mode, offering several options that would alleviate the unfavorable conditions and bring my project to vision. After our initial consultation, I told Andy I was waiting to use him while other home projects were completed. Fast forward 5 months and Andy responses to my follow up immediately, and was on site within a week. throughout the project's lifespan Andy was honest, communicative, punctual, and friendly. Andy went above and beyond to ensure that everything was absolutely perfect, all the way down to determining the proper stain to use when taking into account the sun's effect on the color over time, in hopes of matching my much older adjacent wood floor. To say that Andy nailed this project is an understatement. I will not be using any other flooring contractors moving forward, as nobody can top Andy.

My typical process for working with a new costumer usually starts with a phone conversation and then consultation, where i come out to measure the project and provide a quote for the customer.

I had training working for a big flooring company gaining experience and knowledge from people in this industry.
