Lawrence Lambert, principal of Distinctive Kitchen Designs, LLC, was extremely professional and knowledgeable to work with when working with a design client of mine for a full kitchen remodel and 3 bathroom remodels. His expertise in cabinetry design, and calm demeanor when explaining the pros and cons on different cabinetry styles and materials to choose from was very helpful to my client. My client was able to make the best selection based on their needs and style. He provided timely installation and superior customer service to my client as well. Working with Lawrence was great, he was always on time, he always talked to me before and after the day to make sure we were on the same page. I has a vision of what I wanted my kitchen to be, and he turned it into reality! I am thrilled with the results! Thanks Lawrence!Dec 23, 2019Verified
Lawrence listened and created a beautifully designed kitchen from the small, cramped space that existed. He gave me the storage and workspace I needed and I can’t believe it is the same space. I would recommend him in a heart beat. Excellent work.May 2, 2019

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I believe in trying to charge a fair price for my work. I spend allot of time on each project. My customers tell me that my prices are fair. My average kitchens with labor runs between $22,000 to $35,000 depending on size and customer preferences.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Setting up an onsite meeting. The first meeting, I start by asking the clients what is there style and vision of there new kitchen going to be. I have a questioner I go threw covering all items. I take fine measurements of the space. If walls are going to be removed I will go into the basement to see if there are load bearing or if plumbing is running through the walls to be removed. I will be doing a new design for the project, so we will have a second meeting where I present the drawings and pricing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I worked as a custom cabinet maker for over 15 years and I have worked as a kitchen designer for 21 years now.
