Introduction: I am a friendly and patient mentor and I know a lot about my profession and all its different musical styles. Listening to one of my students play a piece for me (and her family) when she has mastered it. I derive great satisfaction from helping my students to progress and improve.

Mark's style of teaching was calm, patient and fun and for an older student just learning the piano this was perfect He was always dependable and on time with a smile. Great experience!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Here's something most people don't know about the music teaching profession. Every hour of studio time (lessons) requires an equal hour of time outside the studio for preparation, lesson planning, teaching materials research, etc. So if I have 20 hours of lessons a week, that's 40 hours right there. That's in ADDITION to whatever time I spend on my own musical training: daily practice, composing, performing.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

When my own child was young, I found that children, music and I worked well together.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?
