They came an hour late (and didn't call to let us know) and charged $50 more than what was quoted and would only accept cash. My husband had to leave and they said they would text pics when they were done and they didn't. I paid for window cleaning, but not all windows were done. Our typical routine is to have one of the homeowners do a final walk through with us at the end to ensure the cleaning is satisfactory to our clients. In your situation, upon arriving I spoke with your husband about the price change due to the status of the home, he agreed before the cleaning started. We work very hard deliver the absolute best service we can for the lowest price available and if you would like to use us again in the future, I recommend reviewing the home with us to ensure that the completed cleaning is to your satisfaction as we want to make sure that expectations for the cleaning are discussed and that you’re happy with the service we’ve provided. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I am upfront and honest about my pricing and fees. On Thumbtack I will share an estimated cost based on the details you have shared, once we confirm an appointment I will arrive at your home and do a "walk through" to determine the status of the home. If I see that the home is in need of more care my price is subject to change. I will always make my customer aware of any price changes and that the final price is agreed upon before the cleaning starts. I offer discounts for reoccuring cleanings. - What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?I would recommend inquiring about the hygiene with their cleaning supplies and what products they use. For example, ensure that they use different rags for different areas of the home, bathroom vs. kitchen to prevent germs from cross contaminating. Also, ensure that you approve the products they are using and that you enjoy the scent.
